Past
We have been operating in the construction market for over 20 years, initially developing our experience in traditional building technologies and modular construction utilizing frame structures. In this field, we have achieved many successes in both single-family and multi-family housing. A key moment for the company was discovering CLT wood in 2019 and choosing this building material to create a new fully ecological technology, which additionally combined all our previous experiences. We knew right away that this was the direction we wanted to pursue.

In today’s world, people possess ecological awareness; they understand the significant impact that human actions have on their surrounding environment and recognize that they are part of nature with a tangible influence on its state and future. Ecological awareness is not limited to knowledge but extends to an emotional assimilation that drives concrete actions.
The WaldenHomes brand was created with the conscious, modern individuals in mind, who are open to ecological innovation. Our 100% wooden homes were inspired by the story of Walden Pond in Massachusetts as described in Henry David Thoreau’s book. The author recounts a brief period of his life when he chose to live alone in the woods surrounding Walden Pond to experience nature more closely. In his work, Thoreau critiques the society of his time, highlighting excessive consumerism and indifference to the destruction of ecosystems. The 19th-century history of Walden Pond emphasizes the immense importance of the natural environment in every person’s life and the necessity of conscious existence.
Our brand’s goal is also to educate customers about the possibilities that modernity offers, with new technologies allowing the construction of fully ecological homes. Our CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) houses are designed to harmonize with nature. Throughout the construction process, we use environmentally friendly materials, and the CLT wood used in our technology comes exclusively from certified forests.
